Nine new faculty members join ºÃÉ«ÏÈÉúTV’s community for the 2025-26 academic term. They are Jamie Herrick, Pro-rata Assistant Professor of Exercise Sports Science; Erin Isaacson, Instruction and E-Resources Librarian; Dominic LoGalbo, Assistant Professor of Architecture; Catherine Schlosser, Associate Professor and Director of Nursing of Ambria College of Nursing; Bethany Timmons, Pro-rata Assistant Professor of Communication Arts; John Wallbaum, Assistant Professor of Mathematics; Jonathan Wilson, Assistant Professor of Computer Science; Melissa Yap, Assistant Professor of Architecture; and Laura Daniels, Associate Professor of Nursing of Ambria College of Nursing.Ìý Ìý

Jamie Herrick has taught in Higher Education for 29 years. He has coached football at Judson in multiple roles, including Executive Director of Football Operations, Head Strength and Conditioning Coordinator, Special Teams Coordinator, and Running Backs Coach. Entering his new role as a Pro-rata Assistant Professor of Exercise Sports Science, Herrick is looking forward to being able to engage with students from all over Judson’s campus.
Erin Isaacson is a graduate of Northeastern Illinois University and launched her career in Higher Education with Judson in June. In 2013, Isaacson worked with Northeastern Illinois University’s Learning Success Center to enhance their tutor tracking system. As the Instruction and E-Resources Librarian, she is excited to use her skills and abilities to enhance students’ research and guide them toward new and exciting discoveries. Ìý


Dominic LoGalbo brings six years of experience in Higher Education to his new role as Assistant Professor of Architecture at Judson. He aspires to use his love of architecture to form a Community Design Center that brings planning and architectural design to underserved communities. Besides being an architect and a professor, LoGalbo enjoys woodworking, photography, and punning.
Catherine Schlosser joins Judson’s faculty as Associate Professor and Director of Nursing of Ambria College of Nursing with 15 years of experience in Higher Education. Passionate about being an educator, Schlosser hopes to collaborate with nursing faculty to encourage and help others to become Certified Nurse Educators. When asked to share a fun fact about herself, Schlosser explains that over eight years ago, a student inspired her to become a vegan.


Bethany Timmons has served with Judson as an adjunct professor for three years. Entering her new position as Pro-rata Assistant Professor of Communication Arts, Timmons looks forward to being able to enrich her students’ understanding of communications as a whole. In her free time, Timmons is a musician, a writer, and a reader.
John Wallbaum is passionate about mathematics, which is why he is excited to begin his new position as Assistant Professor of Mathematics at Judson. When asked what he is looking forward to most, Wallbaum shares that he is excited to teach upper-level math courses. His professional goal for this upcoming year is to complete a study on test elements of free groups. In his free time, he enjoys golfing.


Jonathan Wilson joins Judson’s faculty as Assistant Professor of Computer Science. He is most looking forward to helping his students better understand the study of computer science through creating engaging course materials. When he isn’t teaching, Wilson enjoys playing video games and cutting gems.
Melissa Yap has been teaching in Higher Education for 17 years. She launches her new position as Assistant Professor of Architecture looking forward to new opportunities for growth. In her free time, Yap enjoys reading and watching musicals. This year, she hopes to be able to learn to speak a new language.


Laura Daniels joins Judson’s faculty as Associate Professor of Nursing of Ambria College of Nursing. As an educator, she is committed to staying organized and on task, and she is dedicated to preparing her students for excellence in the field of nursing. When asked to share a fun fact, Daniels explains that she has two Great Danes. Together, her two pets weigh over 300 pounds!
