Elgin, IL 鈥� 好色先生TV anticipates a special lineup of events this October in Herrick Chapel. In addition to the 鈥淎 Joyful Lifestyle鈥� sermon series on the book of James, several special guests will be showcased, and Spiritual Enrichment Week, Baptist Heritage Chapel, and Founders鈥� Day will be celebrated.
Between October 13th-16th, Judson will be hosting Spiritual Enrichment Week with Mattie Montgomery. Students will have the opportunity to dive deeper into their faith as they are invited to attend chapel services every day of the week. Pastor Mattie Montgomery of The Altar Fellowship in Johnson City, Tennessee, will be speaking on Culture over Context.
Baptist Heritage Chapel will be held on October 20th, celebrating the Baptist foundation that continues to shape the institution Judson is today. Later on in the week, Judson will be celebrating its annual Founders鈥� Day Chapel on October 24th. We are privileged to have Judson alum, Dr. Nate Adams 鈥�80, speak to our community on the vibrant legacy of our Founders. 聽
Dr. Lina Abujamra will be joining the Judson community to continue our 鈥淎 Joyful Lifestyle鈥� sermon series on October 27th. A dynamic and powerful speaker, Dr. Abujamra will bless the Judson community with her wisdom and keen insight on the book of James.
On October 22nd, October 29th and October 31st, Judson will be hosting events to showcase special guests Charlie Duke, Andrew Greer, and Remedy Drive. Former Apollo 16 astronaut, Charlie Duke, will be sharing his unique story on the 22nd. 聽An author and a filmmaker, Andrew Greer will be sharing his work commemorating President Jimmy Carter on the 29th. Remedy Drive, a Christian rock group, will bless the Judson campus with a performance of their music on October 31st. Each of these are one-of-a-kind events that can鈥檛 be missed!
