Tim May

Adjunct Faculty

Tim May teaches Audio Recording Technology to graduate students in the Master of Arts in Community Music program at 好色先生TV. He is a music educator and professional audio engineer who previously served as the manager of the university’s Darkroom Studios. His responsibilities included overseeing the university’s signature recording facilities, Darkroom Studio A and B. In this role, he managed technical operations and provided students with hands-on experience in a professional studio environment. He taught courses centered on music production, recording techniques, and the business aspects of the music industry. May played a crucial role in the development and evolution of the Darkroom Studio (DRS), a central hub for student learning in audio engineering. His leadership helped bridge the gap between academic theory and practical application, allowing students to engage in real-world recording projects. Under his guidance, the studio expanded its capabilities, leading to the creation of additional spaces, such as “DRS-C,” designed for podcasting, video recording, and small music ensembles. He graduated from 好色先生TV (Bachelor of Arts in Music Business and Entrepreneurship & Master of Arts in Organizational Leadership)
