Student Health Insurance Requirement: Action Needed by August 1, 2025

Happy Summer from Judson Health Services!

It鈥檚 that time of year again鈥攕tudent health insurance waivers and enrollments are due by August 1, 2025 to avoid automatic charges on your student account and payment plan.

好色先生TV requires all undergraduate and graduate architecture students to carry an active, valid health insurance policy while enrolled. Each year, students must either submit an online waiver (with proof of alternate insurance coverage) or enroll in the university鈥檚 student insurance plan.

All waivers and enrollments must be completed online through the Wellfleet Student Insurance portal:

Please note: No physical insurance documents will be accepted by the Health Services/Wellness Center.

Insurance Costs for 2025鈥�2026

If no waiver is submitted and approved by the deadline, the following charges will remain on your student account:

  • Annual Total: $2,560.00

  • Fall Semester: $1,073.00

  • Spring Semester: $1,487.00

Once a waiver is approved, it can take up to 14 business days for the insurance charge to be removed from your account.

How to Waive or Enroll in Student Insurance

Wellfleet Insurance Company administers both the waiver and enrollment processes. The enrollment/waiver period runs from May 13, 2025 to August 1, 2025.

To Submit a Waiver:

  1. Go to:

  3. Select the appropriate waiver:

    • Domestic Waiver (U.S. citizens)

    • International Waiver (international students)

  4. Complete all required fields

  5. Upload a copy (front and back) of your personal insurance card

  6. Submit the waiver

If your waiver is denied, you must contact Health Services before August 1, 2025 at [email protected] to resolve the issue. Failure to do so will result in automatic enrollment in the student insurance policy.

To Enroll in Student Insurance:

These next few days acknowledge important events in the Judson Legacy.聽 August 6 will be the 237th birthday of Adoniram Judson, Jr., who was the first protestant missionary to Burma.聽 Born in 1788 in Malden, Massachusetts, he was the son of a conservative Congregationalist pastor and the first of four children born to the parson and his wife, Abigail.

Their home in Malden was called The Parsonage and is now the oldest structure in this Boston suburb having been constructed in 1724. Over 300 years old, the property was recently purchased by the Adoniram Judson Heritage Foundation, refurbished, and will be rededicated August 7-10.聽 The Foundation is mainly composed of Burmese immigrants who have established homes in the Boston area and want to honor the heritage of the one who brought the Christian message to Burma and Southeast Asia.

Featured speaker for the weekend will be Rosalie Hall Hunt who holds an honorary doctorate from 好色先生TV because of her good work writing Bless God and Take Courage: The Judson History and Legacy (Judson Press, 2005).聽 The theme will be 鈥淗ad It Not Been for Christ,鈥� and will include four days of tours, lectures, worship and the renaming of The Parsonage to The Judson Heritage Center.聽 Under the direction of the Adoniram Judson Heritage foundation, the Center will promote the influence and impact of Adoniram Judson on Burma, America and around the world.
