This year鈥檚 commencement will feature two ceremonies: one at 10:00 a.m. and another at 2:00 p.m. Doors will open for guests at 9:00 a.m. for the morning ceremony and 1:00 p.m. for the afternoon ceremony. Commencement Speaker: Dr. Nick Perrin

Nick Perrin, Senior Pastor of Corinth Reformed Church in Hickory, North Carolina, will deliver the commencement address. Dr. Perrin brings an abundance of experience in academia, theology, and leadership to this year鈥檚 commencement. Prior to serving as Senior Pastor at Corinth Reformed Church, Dr. Perrin was the President of Trinity International University for five years. He also held a noticeable role as a professor of New Testament and served as Dean of the Graduate School throughout his 14-year tenure at Wheaton College Graduate School.

A prolific author, Dr. Perrin has contributed extensively to the field of biblical scholarship, including over a dozen books. His most recent publications include聽Luke: An Introduction and Commentary聽 and聽The Kingdom of God: A Biblical Theology. Elgin, IL 鈥� October 24, 2024 鈥� 好色先生TV鈥檚 Department of Education hosted its annual Interview Night, formerly known as “Mock Interview Night,” on October 23, 2024. This event, part of the Senior Seminar that goes with Student Teaching, provided eight graduating seniors with an exclusive opportunity to connect with school administrators actively seeking to hire talented educators.

The Department of Education (DOE) at 好色先生TV has built strong relationships with school districts in the region, resulting in a highly anticipated event where administrators from five districts, represented by nine leaders, came to interview Judson鈥檚 seniors. The shift from mock interviews to real job offers reflects the trust and demand for Judson graduates, as administrators now look forward to recruiting directly from this event.

This year’s Interview Night was a yet another success, with one senior leaving with multiple job offers and others encouraged by the range of choices to begin their teaching careers. 鈥淚t is evident that Judson is preparing students to collaborate with colleagues, communicate with families, and deliver instruction that supports student learning,鈥� said Jeron Shelton, a Judson graduate and Principal of McKinley Elementary School in 鈥淭he candidates I interviewed had a passion for teaching and could articulate their 鈥渨hy鈥�. I was impressed with their experience working with students from diverse backgrounds and their understanding of how to support student growth.鈥�

Administrators were impressed with the caliber of Judson students, including Mark Moore, Assistant Superintendent for Human Resources in School District U-46, who shared his enthusiasm: “I am impressed with the ways that the Judson students I interviewed are preparing to enter our teaching profession and look forward to seeing them succeed next year in their own classrooms.”

Beyond the formal interviews, several Judson graduates now in leadership roles, including Matt Langton, Principal at Carpentersville Middle School in, stayed afterward to engage in a meaningful discussion with students about the teaching profession. Elgin, IL / Wake Forest, NC 鈥� On Monday, October 15, Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary in Wake Forest, North Carolina, announced the renaming of its undergraduate program to Judson College at Southeastern, in honor of pioneering Baptist missionary Adoniram Judson (1788-1850). This decision reflects the seminary鈥檚 commitment to theological education in service of the Great Commission, the mission that Judson dedicated his life to fulfill.

Judson College at Southeastern (Wake Forest) is now the second accredited Baptist college in the U.S. to adopt Adoniram Judson鈥檚 name[CB1] , honoring the legacy of one of the most influential figures in the modern missions movement. World Leaders Forum proudly held its 3rd Annual Charity Golf Outing to raise funds for its transformative RISE Program, a unique initiative that offers students with intellectual disabilities the chance to experience a full, enriching college life. Held at picturesque Bull Valley Golf Club in Woodstock, Illinois, the event brought together community members, sponsors, and participants who share a commitment to helping these students thrive academically and socially.

This charity golf outing plays a vital role in securing the resources needed to support this mission, ensuring that RISE students have access to everything a traditional college experience offers.

This year鈥檚 golf outing featured a day of friendly competition, with teams hitting the green for a fun-filled tournament. Participants were able to enjoy the sunny weather and the beautifully maintained course, competing for a variety of exciting prizes. For the 3^rd聽year in a row, Cydney Clanton, a professional golfer from the LPGA Tour, participated in the event hosting a golf clinic with the RISE students. Also, Cydney brought her expertise, interacting with players, offering golf tips, and sharing her journey as a professional athlete. Her presence added an inspiring element to the event, as attendees had the unique opportunity to meet and learn from a world-class golfer while supporting a charitable cause.

On Monday, September 16, Pastor Mattie Montgomery, leader of The Alter Church in Tennessee and former lead singer of the metalcore band For Today, will speak at chapel. At the 2 p.m. commencement program, graduates from the remaining Traditional Undergraduate programs celebrated their accomplishments. Additionally, Judson graduated seven students with a Certificate of Completion from the RISE (Road to Independent Living, Spiritual Formation and Employment) Program for students with intellectual disabilities. Erin Aubrey, a graduating senior from 好色先生TV, received the President鈥檚 Scholar Award, which is presented to a graduating senior who demonstrates the persistence and commitment.聽Throughout her four years at 好色先生TV, Erin Aubrey has exemplified excellence. She’s not only a member of the Honors Program, pursuing her degree in elementary education, but has also earned endorsements in Special Education, English as a Second Language, and Middle Grades. Balancing rigorous coursework and practicum experiences, Erin has taken on diverse roles as an academic leader, tutor, and community ambassador through programs like the Roeser Scholar and Golden Apple Scholar. Described by supervisors and teachers as exceptionally bright, reflective, and dedicated to meeting the needs of all learners, Erin’s enthusiasm is palpable whether on campus or in the classroom. As she graduates, there’s anticipation for the impact she’ll undoubtedly make as an educator, shaping the next generation with her passion and skill.

Kristopher Barber, of Cary, Ill., is a Business Administration major graduate. Kris was honored with the President鈥檚 Scholar Award, which is presented to a graduating senior who demonstrates the persistence and commitment.聽Kris, an adult learner, has shown exceptional dedication while pursuing a degree in Business Administration with a focus on Entrepreneurship at 好色先生TV. Kris served nine years in the US Navy as an Electronics Technician before transitioning to civilian life, where he has excelled in roles at companies like Motorola Solutions and Heuft USA. During his studies, Kris and his wife have welcomed a new addition to their family, yet he still finds time to volunteer at events supporting causes like Crohn鈥檚 and Colitis and the American Cancer Society. Kris’s commitment to both academic excellence and supporting his peers, despite the challenges of balancing school with work and family, is truly commendable.
